Punch Brothers Update 9.22
Hello Friends!
We have a lot of exciting touring coming up -- enough so that we thought we'd fill you in via e-missive. As you may have heard, we'll join T Bone Burnett's The Speaking Clock Revue – a multi-artist "concert extravaganza" – on October 16th at the Wang Theatre in Boston and October 20th at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. Both evenings of the Revue will feature performances by Elton John & Leon Russell, John Mellencamp, Elvis Costello, Gregg Allman, Ralph Stanley, Jeff Bridges, Karen Elson, and The Secret Sisters. In addition, Jim James from My Morning Jacket and Neko Case will join the lineup in Boston and New York respectively. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am EST at Ticketmaster. Further details will be available on our tour page.
In other touring news, we've just announced a two night stand at Lincoln Hall in Chicago this December. We'll be playing Saturday, December 11th and Sunday, December 12th. Tickets will be on-sale Friday morning at 10am CT here.
Finally, just a reminder that we're hitting the road starting tomorrow. We've got a number of headline shows coming up (see the full list below), a set with T Bone at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival in San Francisco, CA next Friday, and a show at the El Rey in Los Angeles, CA with very special guest Jon Brion on October 12th. Also on the horizon, a show with Dierks Bentley during his four-night NYC residency, at Southpaw in Brooklyn on October 21st and two dates supporting Dave Matthews Band on November 5th and 6th in Albany, NY, and Philadelphia, PA, respectively.
