Fall Update
Hi folks,
It's still a bit quiet on the PB front proper for now, but the boys have certainly been very busy and we have some more updates to share.
Thile is putting out an album with Brad Mehldau, fittingly named Chris Thile & Brad Mehldau, due out January 27 on Nonesuch Records. You can pre-order now on double CD or vinyl through Chris's shop, the Nonesuch Store, or digitally via iTunes.
When you pre-order, you'll receive an instant download of their cover of Gillian Welch's "Scarlet Town." You can stream the song on Spotify and watch a video of Chris and Brad performing it live at Bowery Ballroom here.
If you haven't been keeping up with the new season of A Prairie Home Companion with Chris now at the helm, you can visit PrairieHome.org to replay previous episodes and get tickets for upcoming shows across the country. He sat in with Jon Batiste and Stay Human on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night and you can watch them perform "My Oh My" here.
Following the Prairie Home season, Thile will head to Europe for a solo tour followed by a Bach trio tour with Yo-Yo Ma and Edgar Meyer across the US. You can find all the currently announced shows on the tour page.

Critter and Julian Lage have a massive set of dates throughout the US next year, many of which are co-bills with Aoife O'Donovan for their Release The Hounds tour. Aoife will play a set, Critter and Julian will play a set, then they'll all play a set together. Some shows are on sale now and the rest go on sale later today. Critter and Julian are also finalizing a new duo album (you can pick up their debut, Avalon, here). We'll have an update on that in a future email.

Paul's trio, Haas Kowert Tice, just recently wrapped up another tour and they're prepping for their own new album that's in the works. They have a residency at the Station Inn in Nashville over the coming months and you can sign up for their email list to keep up to date.

Noam has another batch of solo dates coming up in the new year to coincide with, you guessed it, his very first motivational book, "The Power Of Nodding." Oh, if only it were true. Good guess, though! There are more shows to be announced, along with details on a top-secret record, but for now you can pick up tickets to see him in Provo, UT, Hudson, NY, Cambridge, MA, Beaver Creek, CO, and Richmond, VA.

Gabe has been keeping busy producing, including Critter and Noam's records, and he recently performed with Willie Nelson on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Best,
Punch Brothers
